FonoForum 04/09: "Jaroussky bezwingt durch die Natürlichkeit seines Vortrags, dem immer etwas Entrückt-Versunkenes innewohnt. Eindruck macht er außerdem mit fast magisch schwebenden Piani und zauberischen Crescendi. Ganz anders hingegen sein Antipode Cencic, dessen Countertenor weit entfernt ist von der Unschuldigkeit Jarousskys. Schillernd und farbig klingt seine Stimme, die er mit auffahrender Verve und ohne Scheu vor dem Vibrato-Einsatz in Szene setzt."
