Biography
Claudia Roden ist in einer in einer jüdischen, aus dem syrischen Aleppo stammenden Familie in Kairo und Paris aufgewachsen. Das Kunststudium gibt sie zugunsten des Schreibens kulinarischer Bücher auf, für deren Rechereche sie ausgedehnte Reisen unternimmt. Claudia Roden lebt seit 1959 in London.
