Das im Mai 1975 in den Abbey-Road-Studios aufgenommene Album gilt zu Recht als eines der besten Werke der Band. Es enthält das epische "Song of Scheherazade" (das auf der Original-LP-Veröffentlichung die zweite Seite des Albums dominierte) und andere klassische Titel wie "Trip to the Fair", "Ocean Gypsy" und "The Vultures Fly High". Bei seiner Veröffentlichung erreichte das Album die US Top 50 und war eines der meistverkauften Renaissance-Alben.
Diese erweiterte Ausgabe von Scheherazade & Other Stories wurde von den Original-Masterbändern der ersten Generation neu gemastert und enthält einen atemberaubenden 5.1-Surround-Sound-Upmix auf einer DVD (NTSC / Region Free), die auch eine hochauflösende Stereomischung und ein wunderbares Bonus-Feature eines bisher unveröffentlichten Live-Werbefilms von 1976 enthält. Das Set enthält außerdem eine Bonus-CD mit einem Konzert, das im Januar 1976 in Nottingham, England, aufgenommen wurde, sowie einen bisher unveröffentlichten Bonustrack. Die Veröffentlichung enthält außerdem ein illustriertes Booklet mit einem neuen Essay mit exklusiven Interviews.
