To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Reine Abzockerei. 300 für so eine Box ist eine Frechheit. Nie ist die das Wert. Als alter Pink Floyd Fan ist hier für mich Ende. Aber es wird weitergehen. 2025 werden wir selbiges mit "Wish You Were Here" erleben. Ohne mich.

Ärger soll man Luft machen. Das ist dann aber keine Rezension. Über Preise für Boxen kann man oft nur staunen. Wer den Preis zu der hier abgebildeten Box unverschämt nennt, hat diese Box nie im Original gesehen oder gar in Händen gehalten. Ich aber schon, als ich diese für einen Freund mitbestellt hatte. Eine Box wie diese habe ich noch nie in Händen gehalten. Alleine die Größe ist besorgniserregend mächtig und wertig. Dafür sollte ein separates Musikzimmer zur Verfügung stehen :) In ein Regal passt die Box jedenfalls nicht. Der Inhalt ist ungewöhnlich reichhaltig und ebenfalls umwerfend, jedenfalls für den Fan oder Sammler. Dies hier ist ein echtes Schmuckstück und ich werde nicht bezahlt für meine positive Beschreibung. Grüazi!

Manno......schon 50 Jahre alt
Auch wenn es immer wieder ein Ausverkauf ist: Wiederauflagen nach einer beträchtlichen Zeit haben etwas Besonderes.
Die Orinalscheiben haben gerade bei einer Lebenszeit von 50 Jahren sehr gelitten. Umso schöner ist es, wenn dann so eine Auflage zum Bestand gehört:
Poster, Postkarten und das Cover in 1:1. Ein gefüttertes schwarzes Sleeve rundet das Ganze positiv ab.

Zu einem Preis von knapp über 20 Euro; auch nicht üblich bei runden Geburtstagen.

Eine Burteilung des musikalischen Inhalts verbietet sich; sonst würde es diese Auflage gar nicht geben.
Die Platte dreht rund, hat keine Wellen und klingt überzeugend.

Für mich steht als nicht-audiophil-belasteten Hörer ein Vergleich 1973/2023 außer Frage; ist auch egal.
Das Herzklopfen in der Ein - und Auslaufrille ist ohne irgendwelche Nebengeräusche hörbar. Über die gesammte Spieldauer erzeugt sie ein Wohlfühlgefühl erster Garnitur.

Einziges Manko ist allerdings die Beschaffenheit des Covers: möglichst mit sehr sauberen Händen oder sogar Samthandschuhen anfassen; sonst sieht man nicht erst in weiteren 50 Jahren jeden Abdruck.

Auch für nicht Pink Floyd Jünger: sehr empfehlenswert.

Für mich als absoluter Pink Floyd Fan ein muss !!
2 Wunderschöne Vinyl Platten, die eigentlich hinter Glas gehören.
Über die Musik muss nicht mehr gesprochen werden.
Von mir volle 5 Sterne ?

Ich kann dem Rezensenten nur vollumfänglich zustimmen!Angenommen,diese Ausgabe wäre bei Analogue Productions oder einem anderen Edellabel erschienen,wäre sie nicht nur doppelt so teuer,sondern klanglich schlechter ausgefallen.Ich möchte übrigens darauf hinweisen,daß diese Ausgabe klanglich nicht mit derjenigen aus dem Vorjahr identisch ist,sondern qualitativ nochmals verbessert wurde.

Für mich genauso! Ich habe ca. 20 verschiedene Versionen von DSOTM auf Vinyl und jede neue Aufmachung macht mir richtig Spaß! Allerdings, ist es nur für Sammler und absolute PF-Fan gedacht. Diese Version klingt auch richtig gut!
