Für sein Album "Films" hat der französische Gitarrist Thibault Cauvin neue Arrangements für 18 Hits aus ikonischen Film-Soundtracks geschrieben. "City of Stars" aus "La La Land", "Mystery of Love" aus "Call Me By Your Name" oder "The Immitation Game" lässt er als stimmungsvolle Gitarrenstücke voll atemberaubender Virtuosität erklingen. Das Album stellt für Thibault Cauvin ein besonderes Herzensprojekt dar. Das Kino begleitet ihn seit seiner Kindheit und ist für ihn ein Sehnsuchtsort der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten und Quelle der Inspiration. Praktisch mit der Gitarre in der Hand geboren, wuchs Thibault Cauvin in einer Musikerfamilie auf. Er studierte am Pariser Konservatorium klassische Gitarre und beendete sein Studium mit Sonderauszeichnung. Als bisher einziger Gitarrist hat er 36 Preise bei internationalen Gitarrenwettbewerben gewonnen und setzt neue Maßstäbe im klassischen und modernen Gitarrenspiel.
