Erst allmählich wurde der Öffentlichkeit die überragende Qualität des Werkes bewußt. – Das Ensemble I Complesso Barocco wurde 1992 von Alan Curtis gegründet; heute ist es eines der international bekannten und geschätzten Barockorchester mit einem Repertoireschwerpunkt auf der italienischen Barockoper.
