Cynthia Barcomi, geboren in Seattle, hat schon als kleines Mädchen für ihr Leben gern gebacken. Diese Leidenschaft hat sie auch nach ihrer Tanzausbildung nicht vergessen. Nach erfolgreichen Jahren als Tänzerin gründete sie in ihrer Wahlheimat Berlin einen Party- und Catering-Service für amerikanische Spezialitäten. 1994 eröffnete Cynthia Barcomi die Barcomi's Kaffeerösterei in Berlin Kreuzberg, 1997 folgte das Barcomi's Deli in Berlin Mitte. Cynthia lebt mit ihrem Mann und ihren vier Kindern in Berlin.
