Progressive-Rock-Geschichte in einer Box

Passend zum 50. Geburtstag im letzten Jahr blicken Procol Harum 2018 zurück auf ihre Karriere. Mit »Still There’ll Be More: An Anthology 1967–2017« präsentiert die britische Rockband eine besondere Retrospektive mit fünf CDs, drei DVDs und einem Buch.

Die ersten drei CDs der Box enthalten Studioaufnahmen, darunter A- und B-Seiten sowie verschiedene Titel ihrer Studioalben. CD vier ist ein Livemitschnitt ihres Konzertes in der Hollywood Bowl am 21. September 1973 mit dem Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra und The Roger Wagner Chorale. Die fünfte CD enthält eine bislang unveröffentlichte Konzertaufnahme aus The Bournemouth Winter Gardens vom 17. März 1976. Alle Audioaufnahmen wurden für die Neuauflage remastert.

Die drei DVDs der »Still There’ll Be More: An Anthology 1967–2017«-Box versammeln diverse seltene und teilweise nie gezeigte Aufnahmen, zum Beispiel aus der Sendung »Top Of The Pops« aus dem Jahr 1967, aus den Archiven der deutschen Sendung »Beat Club« oder eine 65-minütige Aufnahmesession von 1973.

Abgerundet wird »Still There’ll Be More: An Anthology 1967–2017« von einem 68-seitigen Hardcover-Buch mit einem Essay von Patrick Humphries sowie zahlreichen seltenen Fotos aus der privaten Sammlung von Gary Brooker. Zudem enthält die Box eine Reproduktion eines Konzertposters aus dem Jahr 1976.
