Die Single "Fountain of Youth" feiert das Leben, die Jugend und den Mut zur Veränderung. Dieser positive Vibe zieht sich durch das komplette Album. Nach der wundervollen, aber grüblerischen "Hummingbird", die einer düsteren Phase der Veränderung und Trauer entsprang, war es nun Zeit für einen Perspektivenwechsel. Man hört "Sunlit Youth" den Enthusiasmus an, der die Band im Schreibprozess begleitete. Das Album glänzt durch poppigere Klänge, Optimismus und ungebändigte Energie, büßt aber nichts an der geschätzten Vielschichtigkeit der Band ein.
