Freddie Mercurys Debüt-Soloalbum »Mr Bad Guy« war der erste Schritt des legendären Frontmanns von Queen in Richtung Solokarriere. Es enthält vier Singles und erreichte Platz 6 der britischen Albumcharts. Auf diesem Album griff Freddie auf Einflüsse aus Disco, Dance und Pop zurück. Daraus entstanden Songs wie »I Was Born To Love You« und »Living On My Own«. Mit »Made In Heaven« und »Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow« lieferte Freddie außerdem zwei grandiose Rock-Balladen.
