Es zeigt das Beste, was Santana Mitte der siebziger Jahre zu bieten hatte: den Latin-angehauchten Blues/Rock, die spirituelle Jazz-Fusion, die unaufhaltsame Energie von Santana auf der Bühne. Eine Coverversion des Mitte der sechziger Jahre von den Zombies geschriebenen Songs »She's Not There« wurde als Single veröffentlicht und wurde Santanas erster Top-40-Hit seit über fünf Jahren.
