Die Johann-Patroclus-Möller Orgel in Borgentreich ist eine der wenigen noch erhaltenen Springladen Orgeln in Deutschland und die größte Barockorgel Westfalens. Ganz in der Tradition des westfälischen Orgelbaus stehend, der die Springladentechnik in besonderem Maße pflegte, baute Johann Patroclus Möller diese große Orgel, die ursprünglich im Chorherrenstift in Dahlheim stand. Nach dem Erwerb der Orgel durch die Stadt Borgentreich im Jahre 1803 wiederfuhr dem Instrument eine wechselvolle Geschichte mit Veränderung des Prospekts, der Disposition etc.. Doch trotz der Veränderungen hat die Orgel bis heute ihren einzigartigen barocken Klangreiz nicht verloren: Der Glanz und die Fülle der vollen Orgel fügen sich mit schlanken barocken Solostimmen zusammen zu einem abwechslungsreichen Gesamtklang, der durch die Werkauswahl besonders zur Geltung kommt. Die Zusammenstellung ermöglicht einen Einblick in die Vielfalt der Orgelliteratur der Barockzeit, hier zudem in der Verbindung mit einem authentischen Barockorgel-Klang. Der Organist Jörg Kraemer ist Regionalkirchenmusiker der Erzdiözese Paderborn und Leiter des Orgelmuseums Borgentreich. Er ist Lehrbeauftragter an der Hochschule für Musik Detmold für das Fach Orgelbau.

The Johann Patroclus Möller Organ in Borgentreich is one of the few spring chest organs still in use in Germany and the largest baroque organ in Westphalia. Johann Patroclus Möller built this great organ, which was originally housed in the Canon Monastery in Dahlheim. It is entirely representative of the Westphalian organ-building tradition, in which the spring chest technique was especially well developed. After the city of Borgentreich obtained the organ in 1803, the instrument underwent an eventful history with alterations in the prospect and disposition. But despite these changes, the organ has lost nothing of its unique baroque sound right up to the present day. The brilliance and fullness of the full organ combine with the slender baroque solo voices to form a highly varied overall sound, especially audible in the choice of works performed here. This compilation enables us to have a glimpse into the wide variety of baroque organ literature, with an authentic baroque organ sound as well. The organist Jörg Kraemer is the regional church musician of the Archdiocese Paderborn and director of the Organ Museum in Borgentreich. He is a lecturer in organ building at the Academy of Music in Detmold.
