Biografie (Michele Mari)
Michele Mari, geb. 1955 in Mailand, unterrichtet Italienische Literaturwissenschaft an der Staatlichen Universität in Mailand. Er gilt als einer der bedeutendsten italienischen Autoren seiner Generation, ist einer der führenden Experten für die italienische Literatur des 18. Jahrhunderts und zudem ein ausgewiesener Kenner von Comics und Science-Fiction Literatur. Sein literarischer Stil wird mit dem von Tommaso Landolfi, Giorgio Manganelli und Louis-Ferdinand Céline verglichen. Mari verfasste zahlreiche Erzählungen, Lyrik, Essays und vier Romane.
