»Long Walk of the Navajo« besteht aus Gary Arce (Gitarre), Bill Stinson (Schlagzeug) und der Rückkehr von Billy Cordell (Bass). Die »Long Walk«-Sessions wurden durch einen Wüstensturm inspiriert, der die Joshua Tree Landschaft heimsuchte und eine dunkle und düstere Kulisse für die Kreativität und Improvisationen der Band schuf. Blood Sand wurde im Oktober 2022 in Garys Haus von Steve Kille von Dead Meadow aufgenommen. Es war eine komplette Improvisation. »Long Walk of the Navajo« und Respiratory Pause wurden im Gatos Trail Recording Studio von Dan Joeright im Januar 2023 aufgenommen. Alle Songs wurden von Steve Kille gemischt und gemastert.
