Pride war das 2. Studio-Album der amerikanisch / dänischen Hardrock-Band White Lion, das 1987 veröffentlicht wurde. Das Album enthielt die beiden Top-10-Hits Wait und When the Children Cry. Wait nahm Fahrt auf, als MTV den Clip überdurchschnittlich häufig sendete und damit die Single auf Platz 8 der Billboard Hot 100 schob.
Mehr als ein Jahr nach der Album- Veröffentlichung erschien die 2. Single Tell Me. Die sanfte Akustik-Ballade When The Children Cry schaffte Platz 3. Damit machte sie Pride zu einem der lediglich 20 Hard Rock-Alben, die mehrere Top-10-Hits beinhalteten (Platz11 der Albumcharts). Pride verkaufte in den USA 2 Mio. Exemplare: Platin-Status!
Die folgende Tour begann im Juli 1987, als White Lion Ace Frehley's 80er Jahre Band Frehley's Comet supportete. Die nächsten anderthalb Jahre waren die Musiker mit Bands wie Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC und KISS auf Tour.
