The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Das fünfte Album von Weather Report, »Tale Spinnin«, beginnt mit »The Man With The Green Shirt«, einer herausragenden Komposition von Joe Zawinul und ein Klassiker von Weather Report, der die Band verkörpert. »Lusitanos« ist eine typische Wayne Shorter-Komposition, die alle klassischen Shorter-Akzente aufweist, eckig und emotional, aber in ihrer Formulierung kühl logisch. Zawinuls »Between The Thighs« dauert 9: 30 Minuten. Lange Melodie im bevorzugten Modus des »Weather Report Groove«, der eine aufwendigere, Suite-artige Qualität in seiner Komposition aufweist. Die Zwischenspiele werden von Zawinuls magischen Läufen auf den Keyboards zusammengehalten, während Wayne Shorter sein Horn dominiert, um die Musik zu vervollständigen. »Five Short Stories« ist ein harmonisches Ende einer großartigen Scheibe.
