Vertical Horizon ist eine amerikanische Alternative Rock Band gegründet an der Georgetown University in Washington, D. C. im Jahr 1991. Everything You Want ist das dritte Studioalbum von Vertical Horizon und wurde ursprünglich 1999 veröffentlicht. Es diente als das Debüt von Bassist Sean Hurley in der Band.
Die ersten vier Tracks des Albums wurden alle als Single veröffentlicht. Everything You Want wurde zu einer der beliebtesten von 2000 Radio Singles und erreichte Platz 1 der Billboard Hot 100. Das Video zu You're A God zeigt Schauspielerin Tiffani-Bernstein Thiessen, während der Song selbst im Film Bruce Almighty zu hören ist.
Finding Me wurde für die 5. Staffel von Buffy the Vampire Slayer verwendet. Das Album ist in Europa nun endlich zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich. Die limitierte Erstauflage von 750 Exemplaren wird auf transparentem Vinyl veröffentlicht. Das Paket enthält zusätzlich ein Textblatt.
