Twin Atlantic ist eine schottische Alternative-Rock-Band aus Glasgow, Schottland. Sie haben fünf Alben veröffentlicht: ›Vivarium‹, ›Free‹, ›Great Divide‹, ›GLA‹ und ›Power‹. Ihre höchste Chartsingle ist »Heart and Soul« von Great Divide, die auf Platz 17 der britischen Single-Charts einstieg.
Die Band spielte bereits Support bei Biffy Clyro, Blink-182, My Chemical Romance u.v.a. Transparency heißt auch, dass Sänger Sam McTrusty sein Herz für alles ausschüttet, von Ehe, Männerfreundschaft und der Absurdität der sozialen Medien bis hin zu Elternschaft, Medikamenten und seiner Mutter.
Geschrieben unter schwierigen Lockdown-Umständen, wurde das Album mit Produzent und Mentor Jacknife Lee (Cars, U2, REM, The Killers Robbie Williams u.a.) aufgenommen.
