Nach fünf Studioalben und zwei Live-Alben mit ihrer Band beschloss Toyah 1985, eine Solokarriere zu starten und unterschrieb bei Sonys Label Portrait. Das von Christopher Neil produzierte Album »Minx« ist Toyahs erstes echtes Soloalbum und enthält Texte, die sie gemeinsam mit ihren Bandmitgliedern und Simon Darlow (»Slave To The Rhythm«) geschrieben hat, sowie zwei britische Hit-Singles in »Don't Fall In Love (I Said)« und »Soul Passing Through Soul« sowie Coverversionen von Alice Coopers »School's Out« und Rare Birds »Sympathy«.
Toyahs Album "Minx" aus dem Jahr 1985 wird zum ersten Mal als Picture Disc auf Vinyl veröffentlicht.
Diese Deluxe Edition enthält das 10-Track-Album und zwei Bonustracks von den 1985er Kassetten / CD-Formaten, die zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl veröffentlicht werden. Außerdem enthält sie zwei B-Seiten, die bei den Minx-Sessions aufgenommen wurden.
Diese limitierte Sammleredition ist in einer Außenhülle mit gestanztem Fenster untergebracht, das klassische Farbfotos von Toyah auf beiden Seiten der Vinylscheibe sowie seltene Bilder des Fotografen Terence Donovan auf der Verpackung zeigt. "Minx" beinhaltet die Zusammenarbeit mit Adrian Lee, Michael St James, Joel Bogen und Simon Darlow ("Slave To The Rhythm"). "Minx" enthält mit "Don't Fall In Love (I Said)" und "Soul Passing Through Soul" zwei britische Hitsingles sowie Coverversionen von Alice Coopers "School's Out" und Rare Birds "Sympathy".
