Die niederländische Rockband Shocking Blue war in den 60er und 70er Jahren auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere und feierte große Erfolge auf dem gesamten Atlantik. Die Band wurde 1967 gegründet und ist vor allem für ihre Single "Venus" bekannt (mit der sie als erste niederländische Band überhaupt den ersten Platz in den amerikanischen Billboard Hot 100 erreichte). Die Band hatte in der Folge eine Reihe von Hits und ihr Einfluss reichte weit über ihre Generation hinaus.
Music On Vinyl präsentiert stolz ihr legendäres Album "Scorpio's Dance" als 2024 remasterte Ausgabe des Originalmixes von 1970 von Robbie van Leeuwen. Sie enthält nicht weniger als vier Bonustracks, die auf der Original-LP nicht enthalten waren: "Send Me A Postcard", "Mighty Joe", "Hello Darkness" & "Pickin' Tomatoes".
