The Sea Within heißt die neue internationale Artrock-Supergroup von Gitarrist, Keyboarder und Sänger Roine Stolt (Transatlantic, The Flower Kings), Sänger und Gitarrist Daniel Gildenlöw (Pain of Salvation), Bassist Jonas Reingold (The Flower Kings, Karmakanic, The Tangent), Keyboarder und Sänger Tom Brislin (Renaissance, Spiraling, Yes Symphonic, Deborah Harry) und Schlagzeuger, Gitarrist und Sänger Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats, Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani).
Erst im letzten Jahr gegründet, präsentiert die Band 2018 bereits ihr selbstbetiteltes Debüt »The Sea Within«.
Insgesamt zwölf Titel haben sie für das Doppelalbum aufgenommen. Dabei wurden die fünf Musiker von weiteren Kollegen unterstützt: Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Jon Anderson (Yes) und Rob Townsend (Steve Hackett).
Supergruppe, super Debütalbum von The Sea Within. Nichts anderes hätte man von einer Band dieses Formats erwartet.
