Das komplette »GRRR Live!«-Projekt wird am 10. Februar veröffentlicht und enthält ein unglaubliches Aufgebot an Gästen, die die Band unterstützen - The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr., Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen & Mick Taylor.

Mercury Studio wird »GRRR Live!« nicht nur auf Audio, sondern auch auf audiovisuellen Formaten veröffentlichen (Blu-ray und DVD).

Das komplette Konzert war seit seiner Pay-per-View-Ausstrahlung im Jahr 2012 nicht mehr verfügbar - eine willkommene Ergänzung für die Fans.

Der Musikgenuss auf den LP wird durch laute Knacksen und große Sprünge auf jeder der sechs Plattenseiten erheblich beeinträchtigt. Schade, die Musik wäre richtig gut.

Eine absolut unterirdische Pressqualität!!! Wirklich sehr schade bei der tollen Musik! Von meinen neu gekauften LPs sind das die mit Abstand schlechtesten, die ich je gekauft habe! Wären es gebrauchte würde das Grading zwischen "fair" und "good" einordnen!
Absolut keine Kaufempfehlung! Da gibt's deutlich bessere LPs von den Stones!
Die Musik wie gesagt ist toll! Daher ist es um so schlimmer, dass die Pressqualität so miserabel ist!

Beste Qualität zum 50. Bandjubiläum
Hatte das Teil schon als blaues Vinyl imFebruar bestellt, dann aber wegen diverser Mängel zurückgesendet . Jetzt in der weißen Vinylvariante bin ich entzückt. besitze sie als CD/DVD Ausgabe schon länger, aber als Vinylfreak hoffte ich auf ein besseres Exemplar, egal in welcher Farbe.Vor einigen Wochen unterbreitete JPC ein preislich attraktives Angebot und seit heute erfreue ich mich dieses 3 er Albums. Songs, Performance und Verpackung, alles jetzt korrekt.Empfehlenswert. Noch nicht mal gereinigt klingt dieses Teil mehr als zufriedenstellend. Danke, endlich als Vinyl, dringend kaufen für jeden Stones Fan.

Doch, doch, doch! Lady Gaga war der totale Hammer bei diesem Konzert. Gucke und höre noch mal rein. Definition Inbrünstigkeit on vocals? Here it is, beim Song "Gimme shelter"! Ich schwöre!

Value for money
Gute Aufnahme, Live-Feeling kommt rüber. Einziges Manko: keine echten Überraschungen und die Voodoo Launge ist völlig unterrepräsentiert. Ach ja, Lady Gaga hätte es auch nicht gebraucht.

Preisgestaltung?
Irgendwie hat man als Vinyl-Fan regelmäßig das Gefühl, öfter mal abgezockt zu werden. LPs sind ja immer teurer, bis zu einem gewissen Grad wohl auch gerechtfertigt und dem Produktionsprozess geschuldet. Aber 60 für Vinyl OHNE BD vs. 23 für CDs PLUS BD ist nicht ok.

... was ist los? Hier wird ein Album der Stones angekündigt, wir dürfen uns auf ein weiteres Live Konzert freuen ... aber hier wird über die Preisgestaltung fabuliert.
Bei allem Wohlwollen: damit ist ken Kaufzwang verbunden.
Ich möchte bei einer Rezension etwas über die Musik, Fertigung oder den Sound erfahren ... solche Kommentare sind überflüssig.

Welcher Kommentar? Welche Rezension? Ist doch eh alles banane und vorbei. Trink mal ein Bier zur Stimmungsaufhellung, lieber Mr. Blues! It's all over now für uns Altvorderen! Gegenteiliger Meinung seiend? Kack egal. Unsere/meine Generation ist ja old-schoolish voll tolerant, multipluralistisch-empathisch & wohl erzogen und hält sich an zivilatorische, demokratische Regeln des gemeinsamen, toleranten Zusammenseins.
Das dargebotene Teil? Absolut granate, bombe. Echt. Ich schwöre.

Die STONES live At Newark 2012 (2CDs + DVD) (Digipack) 28. Juli 2023
Meine höchstgarselbige Rezension bezog sich damals auf die originale Pay-TV-Übertragung des Konzerts, welches ich als Bootleg-DVD auf einem Hammer-Straßen-Fest oder beim Hafenfest in Münster erworben habe. Die angebotene DVD ist völlig neu abgemischt worden, mit und aus vielen anderen Kameraperspektiven heraus. Schade für die Nachwelt: die originale TV-Ausstrahlung hielt ca. eine gefühlte Minute lang auf den A***, Ar*** äh Allerwertesten von Lady Gaga drauf. Diese filmische Sequenz fehlt leider auf diesem offiziellen DVD-Release. Schade. Wie gesagt: das angebotene Filmdokument (auf einer DVD, nebst 2 CDs) ist völlig neu zusammengeschnitten worden. Sound und Bildqualität? Absolut granate und bombe, echt. Ich schwöre! So wahr ich dieharter STONES-Fan bin!
