Lola versus Powerman und The Moneygoround, Part One, das Album der Kinks aus 1970, wird im Dezember zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum neu aufgelegt.
Das Deluxe-Box-Set wird in einer Acht-Zoll-Box präsentiert wird und drei CDs, zwei Sieben-Zoll-Singles, ein 60-seitiges Hardcover-Buch und einige Art Cardsn enthält.
Die Lola-Box enthält drei CDs, zwei Sieben-Zoll-Singles und ein Buch.
Was die CDs betrifft, so wurde das Originalalbum von den Originalbändern neu gemastert, und es gibt zahlreiche Einzelmixes (in Stereo und Mono), B-Seiten, Alternativmischungen und neue Medleys mit Ray & Dave Davies' Spoken-Word-Kommentar. Dazu kommen bisher unveröffentlichte Demos, originale Session-Outtakes und mehr.
Die beiden 7-Zoll-Singles 'Lola' und 'Apeman' mit ihren jeweiligen B-Seiten und vier Art Cards mit Fotos der Band vervollständigen dieses Box-Set.
Außerdem gibt es eine Doppel-CD Deluxe (mit der ersten CD aus dem Box-Set und einer einzigartigen Zusammenstellung von Bonusmaterial auf Disc zwei), eine Einzel-CD (mit einer anderen Auswahl an Bonusmaterial im Anhang) und eine Klapp-Vinyl-LP mit dem Remaster und einem 12-Zoll-Booklet.
