Dabei verstehen es The Alligator Wine gleichzeitig diese Einflüsse in engängigen Melodien und packenden Refrains zu verpacken.
Das coolste daran: Die Band besteht nur aus 2 Mitgliedern und kommt ohne jeden Gitarrensound aus. Nur eine Hammond Orgel, ein Moog-Synthie, ein Schlagzeug sowie eine Menge abgefahrener Effekte reichen für den unverkennbaren Sound.
