Am 16. September 2017 jährt sich der 40. Todestag des leider viel zu früh verstorbenen Marc Bolan. Demon veröffentlicht zu diesem Anlass in Gedenken an einen großartigen Musiker klassische Remixe seiner Hits.
Man findet auf den LP’s seine englischen Nummer 1 Hits »Metal Guru« & »Telegram Sam« genauso wie auch die Klassiker »Children Of The Revolution« & »20th Century Boy«. Als Remixer wirkten unter anderem The Reflex, Wye Oak und Ra Ra Riot mit.
Der Erfolg und der immer noch in die Musikgeschichte reichende Einfluss Marc Bolans als Visionär der Rockmusik und einer der Pioniere des Glam Rock ist unbestritten. Während des Höhepunktes der »T. Rextasy«(1970-1973) war T. Rex mindestens so bekannt wie die Beatles.
Die Band brachte 11 Singles in die Top 10, davon 4 Nummer 1 Hits. Zudem schafften es 3 Alben auf die Nummer 1 der Album-Charts!
