»Shangri-La Dee Da« ist das fünfte Album der STONE TEMPLE PILOTS. Es wurde von Brendan O'Brien (PEARL JAM, NEIL YOUNG, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) produziert und erschien 2001. Das Album erreichte Goldstatus.
Der erfolgreichste Song des Albums »Days Of The Week« wurde nur auf einer Handvoll Konzerte auf der Tour zum Album gespielt. Die zweite Single, »Hollywood Bitch«, jedoch, gehört seit der Reunion der Band 2008 wieder regelmäßig zum Liveset. 2011 schaffte es auch »Black Again« auf die Setliste, ebenso wie »Bi-Polar Bear«.

AVAILABLE ON VINYL FOR THE FIRST TIME! Shangri-La Dee Da is the fifth studio album by American Hard Rock band Stone Temple Pilots.
It was produced by Brendan O'Brien and released in 2001. The album was certified Gold. While recording the album, the band also worked on a documentary and coffee table book.
Neither was released, however, and limited footage was made available through the band's official website in the form of live performancebased music videos.
The album's most successful song »Days of the Week« was only being performed at a handful of dates on the supporting tour for the album.
However, the album's second single »Hollywood Bitch« has become a staple of the band's live set ever since their 2008 reunion.
In 2011, the song »Black Again« was added to STP's setlist, and was performed for the majority of the tour.
»Bi-Polar Bear« was also performed occasionally, after the band reunited in 2008.
