The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Carlos Santana katapultierte sich mit seiner Musik in die Hall Of Fame der Rockmusik und kreierte einen ganz eigenen Fusionstil. Niemand konnte ihn wirklich kopieren und bis heute wird er direkt mit dem Namen Santana in Verbindung gebracht. Der Gitarrist verbindet auf dem gleichnamigen Album Latin mit Rock, Blues-Rock, Psychedelic, Jazz und Soul und kreiert seine unverwechselbaren Rhythmen.
Im August 1969 trat Carlos Santana auf dem legendären Woodstock-Festival auf und rückte damit ins Blickfeld der internationalen Musikszene. Die anschließende Veröffentlichung seiner LP Santana war ein echter Hit. Über zwei Jahre blieb sie in den Charts vertreten und bescherte dem 22-jährigen einen riesigen Erfolg mit mehreren Millionen verkaufter Platten. Auf dieser fantastischen Scheibe, die zum Grundstock einer jeden ambitionierten Musiksammlung zählen sollte, finden sich Hits wie Evil Ways oder das tolle Jingo, nicht zu vergessen auch Waiting und Soul Sacrifice!
