Zu Beginn des neuen Jahrzehnts versuchten sich Roxy auf "Flesh + Blood" (1980) mit ein paar gut ausgewählten und disparaten Coverversionen in Form des Wilson Pickett/Steve Cropper Soul-Klassikers "In The Midnight Hour" und des ebenso unverfälschten Psych-Rock-Juwels "Eight Miles High" von The Byrds, obwohl die Originalkompositionen "Oh Yeah" und "Over You" die Songs waren, die wieder in die Top Five stürmten.
