Der legendäre Konzertfilm „Ladies & Gentlemen…The Rolling Stones” wurde auf Grundlage der originalen Filmspulen und des Mehrspur-Audiomasters vollständig restauriert und remastert und erscheint nun erstmalig in komplett autorisierter Version auf DVD und Blu-ray. Mitgeschnitten wurde der Film an vier Nächten der „Exile On Main Street” US-Tournee in Texas im Jahr 1972. Die Premiere von „Ladies & Gentlemen” fand am 15. April 1974 im New Yorker „Ziegfield Theatre“ statt, von wo aus der Streifen seinen Siegeszug durch ausgewählte Kinos in ganz Amerika antrat. „Ladies And Gentlemen“ wurde seinerzeit als „kraftvollster Rock-Film, der jemals gedreht wurde” bezeichnet und gilt bei vielen Fans der Rolling Stones als das beste in Bild und Ton dokumentierte Konzert der Gruppe aller Zeiten. Das Bonusmaterial umfasst Aufnahmen von Tourneeproben in Montreux, ein Testinterview mit Mick Jagger aus dem ´Old Grey Whistle` im Jahr 1972 und ein aktuelles Interview mit ihm von 2010. Der Film wird zeitgleich auf DVD und Blu-ray veröffentlicht.

This Legendary Rolling Stones concert film, shot over four nights in Texas during the "Exile on Main Street" tour in 1972, was released in cinemas for limited engagements in 1974 and has remained largely unseen since. Now, restored and remastered, "Ladies and Gentlemen" makes its first authorised appearance on DVD. This is one of the finest Rolling Stones concerts ever captured on film and features outstanding performances of classic tracks from the late sixties and early seventies. Also included as a bonus is previously unreleased rehearsal footage for the tour filmed in Switzerland and interviews with Mick Jagger from 1972 and 2010.
