Pretty Boy Floyd waren eine der letzten echten Glam-Bands, die in den späten 80er- Jahren Bekanntheit erlangten. Diese Jungs hatten wirklich ein paar tolle Songs und ein wirklich starkes Debütalbum veröffentlicht.
Der Titeltrack »Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz« zeichnet sich durch röhrende Gitarren, krachende Drums, donnernde Bässe und Steve Summers unverkennbaren Gesangsstil aus, der dem Song eine unglaubliche Energie und Intensität verleiht, die bis heute unerreicht ist. Songs wie »Rock'n'Roll«, »48 Hours«, »Toast Of The Town« (Motley Crue Coverversion) und »Rock N' Roll Outlaws« sind allesamt Favoriten. Auch wenn Pretty Boy Floyds Debüt zwar alles andere als bahnbrechend war, ist es aber eben eine wirklich großartige Rock'n'Roll-Platte!
