Preoccupations ist eine kanadische Post-Punk-Band aus Calgary, Alberta, die 2012 unter dem Namen Viet Cong gegründet wurde. Die Band besteht aus Matt Flegel (Gesang, Bass), Scott Munro (Gitarre, Synthesizer), Daniel Christiansen (Gitarre) und Mike Wallace (Schlagzeug). Flegel und Wallace waren zuvor Mitglieder der Band Women, die sich 2010 auflöste. Der Musikstil der Gruppe wurde als „labyrinthischer Post-Punk“ beschrieben.
