1995 erschien Pink Floyds Livealbum und Konzertfilm »Pulse«. Der Mitschnitt, der eine Live-Aufnahme des vollständigen Albums »The Dark Side Of The Moon« enthält, war zunächst nur als VHS und CD, 2006 dann erstmals auf DVD erhältlich. Er erreichte in mehreren Ländern Platz eins der Charts, darunter Deutschland, Großbritannien und die USA.
Für das 2019er-Box-Set »The Later Years« wurde der Film von den originalen Mastertapes neu geschnitten und restauriert. 2022 gibt es ihn erstmals als Deluxe Edition auf Doppel-DVD beziehungsweise Doppel-Blu-ray mit jeder Menge Bonusmaterial. Hier ist »P.U.L.S.E. Restored & Re-Edited«.
P.U.L.S.E. Restored & Re-Edited (Deluxe Edition)
The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Der "P. U.L. S.E." -Konzertfilm (Regie: David Mallet) wurde im Zuge der Veröffentlichung von The Later Years" in 2019 von Aubrey Powell / Hipgnosis von den originalen Mastertapes neu geschnitten und restauriert.
Das Cover Design, welches ursprünglich von Storm Thorgerson und Peter Curzon für den 2006er DVD Release erstellt wurde, wurde ebenfalls mit einem Foto von Aubrey Powell / Hipgnosis und Rupert Truman / StormStudios aktualisiert. Das Packaging der neuen Version von "P. U.L. S.E." enthält zudem das ikonische pulsierende Licht der 1995er CD-Version, welches mit zwei austauschbaren AA Batterien betrieben wird. Das Deluxe Package enthält neben dem Konzertfilm zudem Musikvideos, Concert Screen Films und weiteres Bonus Material wie Clips aus den Proben der Tour und Dokumentationen. Abgerundet wird das Deluxe-Set mit einem 60-seitigen Booklet.
