Vor einem Jahr verstarb der Gitarrist / Sänger / Songwriter und Gründungsmitglied von Jefferson Airplane und später Jefferson Starship. Das vorliegende Album hat Kantner 2011 eingespielt und über seine Website veröffentlicht. Die Tracks entstanden zusammen mit u. a. Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane), Slick Aguilar und Cathy Richardson (Jefferson Starship), Dave Freiberg (Quicksilver Messenger Service) und Jack Casady (Jefferson Airplane / Hot Tuna).
Die Doppel CD enthält 21 Tracks, die sich – wie der Albumtitel vermuten lässt – der Liebe widmen, darunter einige starke Coversongs wie Van Morrisons ›Crazy Love‹, The Beatles' ›All You Need Is Love‹ oder Bob Dylans ›Don't Think Twice, It's Alright‹.
