Mit »Black Star Dancing« und »This Is The Place« veröffentlichten Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds im vergangenen Jahr gleich zwei EPs. Genug haben der ehemalige Oasis-Leadgitarrist und seine Band aber noch lange nicht, und deshalb kommt 2020 die neue »Blue Moon Rising EP«.

Fünf Tracks umfasst die Platte: »Blue Moon Rising«, »Wandering Star« und »Come On Outside« sowie zwei Remixe des Titelsongs.

Mit »Wandering Star« erschien 2019 bereits die erste Singleauskopplung. Nach dem funky Psychedelic-Retro-Rock des Vorgängers handelt es sich nun um eine melodische Pop-Hymne. Immer mal was Neues.

Qualität und Quantität schließen sich bei Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds nicht aus. Im Gegenteil: »Blue Moon Rising« ist bereits die dritte beeindruckende EP der Band in weniger als einem Jahr. Weiter so!
