Erste Vinylreissue des zweiten Albums der New Age Steppers um Adrian Sherwood und Ari Up (The Slits), das noch im selben Jahr (1981) folgte und melodischer und zugänglicher als sein Vorgänger war. Auf »Action Battlefield« nahm Ari stärker die Rolle der Frontfrau und Leadvokalistin an, streute in »Problems« deutsche Vocasl ein, während wieder Mitglieder von Creation Rebel und Aswad an den Aufnahmen beteiligt waren und eine junge Neneh Cherry auf »My Love« ihr Vocaldebüt gab. Das Album enthält radikale Interpretationen von Bim Sherman, Horace Andy und B. B. Seaton-Songs.
