Michael Monroe, Sänger der legendären Hanoi Rocks, ist einer der schillerndsten und einflussreichsten Sänger und Multi-Instrumentalisten der gesamten Rockszene und veröffentlicht sein neues Studioalbum »Blackout States« auf Spinefarm records. Die 13 Tracks wurden von Chips Kiesbye (Hellacopters, Nomads etc.) in Göteburg produziert und in Helsinki von Petri Majuri gemixt. In Finnland ging der Vorgänger »Horns And Halos« übrigens auf Platz 1 in die Charts.
Auf »Blackout States« findet man das aktuelle Touring – und Recording Lineup wieder – Bassist Sami Yaffa (ex-Hanoi Rocks/New York Dolls), Gitarrist Steve Conte (ex-New York Dolls/Company Of Wolves), Gitarrist Rich Jones (ex-Black Halos/Amen) und Drummer Karl Rockfist (ex-Chelsea Smiles/Danzig).
