Doppeljubiläum für Marianne Faithfull: Nicht nur, dass die britische Sängerin, Schauspielerin und Buchautorin im letzten Jahr den 50. Geburtstag ihres selbstbetitelten Debüts sowie ihr großes Bühnenjubiläum feierte, 2016 wird sie zudem 70 Jahre alt.
Gründe genug, um einen Rückblick auf ihre eindrucksvolle Karriere zu werfen. Mit »No Exit« haben Fans und Musikliebhaber jetzt die Chance dazu.
Denn bei »No Exit« handelt es sich um ein umfangreiches Set aus Livealbum und Konzertfilm. Die CD bietet ein Audio-Best-Of ihrer Liveauftritte aus ganz Europa. Mit dabei sind Konzertaufnahmen von Songs wie »The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan«, »Sister Morphine«, »Sparrows« und natürlich ihrer ersten Single »As Tears Go By«, die von keinen Geringeren als Mick Jagger und Keith Richards geschrieben wurde.
Die DVD und Blu-ray Disc enthalten jeweils die Aufnahme ihres Konzerts in Budapest 2014 – ein Mitschnitt von insgesamt 16 Songs. Als besonderes Highlight warten hier zudem vier ausgewählte Livemitschnitte ihres Auftrittes im berühmten Londoner Roundhouse aus dem Jahr 2016.
