Reissue von Manu Dibangos Reggae-Album "Gone Clear", das 1980 auf Island Records erschien. "Gone Clear" entstand in den legendären Dynamic Sound Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, mit der Crème de la Crème der gegenwärtigen Studiomusiker (Sly & Robbie, Randy & Michael Brecker, Lou Marini). Manu Dibangos Reggae-Sound enthielt Einflüsse aus Afrika, Jamaika und funky Amerika und verbreitete eine positive, entspannte Atmosphäre. Mit "Reggae Makossa" lieferte er auch eine Reggae-Version seines einflussreichen Afro-Soul-Klassikers "Soul Makossa".
