Zum 50. Geburtstag der ersten Non-Album-Single von King Crimson dürfen sich Fans der Rocklegenden 2020 über zwei besondere Releases freuen: die CD und die 10"-Single »Cat Food« (50th Anniversary Edition).

Die Platte enthält neben den Originalsongs »Cat Food« (Single Version) und »Groon« (B-Seite) eine zusätzliche Live-Version von »Cat Food«, aufgenommen von der aktuellen Bandbesetzung in Toronto im September 2019. Zudem wartet eine neue Albumversion von »Cat Food«, die von Producer David Singleton für die KC50-Digital-Serie der Band gemixt wurde.

Das Ganze erscheint als CD und als 10"-Vinyl. Die Platte kommt in einer nachgemachten Single-Hülle mit dem Originalcoverartwork der ursprünglichen 7"-Single.

Ein besonderes Reissue, ein absolutes Muss für alle King-Crimson-Fans der ersten Stunde: die 50th Anniversary Editions von »Cat Food« auf CD und Vinyl.
