Bereits 1970 wechselte Ken Boothe zu dem Musik-Produzenten Leslie Kongs Beverley, um »Freedom Street« aufzunehmen, wodurch eine Reihe von Hits, wie »Why Baby Why«, »Now I Know« und dem Titel-Track »Freedom Street« ins Rollen gebracht wurde.
