Ihre siebte LP aus dem Jahr 1980

ist leider auch ihre letzte Scheibe in Originalbesetzung.
Sie setzten den bereits eingeschlagenen Rock-AOR-Mainstream
konsequent fort, was bestimmt nicht negativ zu bewerten ist
denn auch diese Platte ist eine Gute in diesem Genre.

Sie startet mit "Relentless"(4:55)als Hard-Rock mit
Prog-Instrumentaleinlagen.

Es schliesst sich "Anything for you"(3:56) an als AOR-Mainstream.

Ein 3/4-tel Takt eröffnet die eingängige Ballade "Hold on"(3:45)
von Akustik-Gitarre getragen mit gutem Chorgesang und Gitarrensolo.

Härter und flotter wird es mit "Loner"(2:26) kurz und bündig.

Fast wie zu alten Zeiten kommt "Curtain of iron"(6:08) rüber,
balladesk und gut dramaturgisiert, auch teilweise heavy und
gleichzeitig cool. Die Violine gibt einen Beweis ihrer Existenz.

Es folgt "Got to rock on"(3:19)als AOR nicht ohne kleinen
Prog-Break.

In vergangene Kansas-Zeiten führt auch "Don't open your eyes"(4:03) als Symphonic-Prog mit sehr verhaltenem Gesang, jedoch mit guten Instrumentaleinlagen.

Ganz in alter Manier prog-symphonisch wird "No one together"(6:54) gegeben. Gutes Arrangement, Dramaturgie, unvorhersehbare Breaks und Instrumentaleinlagen, Tempiwechsel, Vibraphon-Einlage - Kansas total.

Vertrakt rockt "No room for a stranger"(2:55)im Mid-Tempo, sehr
schön arrangiert.

"Back door"(4:20) beendet die Platte balladesk mit Bag-Pipe-Arrangement.
