Der Dokumentarfilm, der von Oscar®-Preisträger Matthew McConaughey gesprochen wird, berichtet von Mellencamps historischer Tournee im Jahr 2000, bei der er kostenlos in öffentlichen Parks und auf öffentlichen Plätzen im ganzen Land auftrat.
