Nachdem Ian Gillan und The Javelins bereits im letzten Jahr ein neues Album veröffentlicht haben, erscheint 2019 ein alter Schatz des Deep-Purple-Sängers und einer seiner ersten Bands.
The Javelins waren neben Gillan der Leadgitarrist Gordon Fairminer, der Rhythmusgitarrist Tony Tacon, der Bassist Tony Whitfield und der Schlagzeuger Keith Roach.
»Raving With Ian Gillan & The Javelins« erschien ursprünglich bereits 1994 unter dem Titel »Sole Agency and Representation«. Es umfasst 14 Coversongs. Als Vorlage dienten Hits von Chuck Berry, Cliff Richard oder The Coasters. Das gesamte Tracklisting finden Sie im Folgenden.
