Das Songwriting und der Gesang von Brent Rademaker (Gründungsmitglied von Beachwood Sparks) sind gradlinig und einladend. Die zeitlose Produktion und prägnanten Harmonien stammen wieder von Gitarrist/Sänger Jason Soda. Aufgenommen wurde das Album in Los Angeles bei Palomino Sound, Jasons neues 1970er Jahre-Vintage-Studio. Das dritte Haupt-Mitglied von GospelbeacH ist Jonny Niemann, der an Piano, Orgel und Mellotron zu dem satten Sound des Albums beiträgt.
Ganz in Tradition der Troubadour-Szene der 1970er Jahre liefert Another Summer of Love Beiträge von Freunden der Band und die besten Musiker aus Los Angeles, wie zum Beispiel Pearl Charles, Miranda Lee Richards, Mitglieder von Wilco, Mapache, Eels und Leute vom Grand Ole Echo. Das Artwork des Albums enthält Fotos von GospelbeacH-Gitarrist/Sänger Neal Casal und Allah-Las-Drummer Matthew Correia.
