»Harrow & The Harvest« erschien ursprünglich bereits am 28. Juni 2011 auf CD und war das erste Album der US-amerikanischen Alternative-Country-Sängerin nach mehr als acht Jahren.
Der sechste Longplayer Welchs war bei den 54. Grammy Awards in der Kategorie »Best Folk Album« nominiert. Er erreichte Platz 20 der US-Charts sowie Platz eins der US-Folk-Charts.
