Foreigner (Hybrid-SACD)
The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Das Debütalbum von Foreigner aus dem Jahr 1977 zeigte in den USA, dass guter alter Rock eben nicht von der aus England anrollenden Welle des Punk verdrängt werden würde. Foreigner zelebriert hier, was man in späteren Jahren einmal »Arena-Rock» nennen sollte. Musik, zu der ein jeder die Luftgitarre auspacken kann und mit der man Stadien füllen kann. Das Album wurde im Laufe der Zeit gleich fünfmal mit Platin für seine enormen Verkaufszahlen ausgezeichnet und der Hit ›Cold As Ice« gehört in das Programm jedes Rockradios.
