Beautiful Sadness ist das Debüt-Album des in Berlin lebenden Künstlers Fil Bo Riva, der national und international bereits mit seiner EP If You’re Right, It’s Alright (2016) für Furore sorgte. Fil Bo Riva (ein Spitzname für den in Italien geborenen Filippo Bonamici) ist ein Künstler, den man unmöglich in eine Schublade stecken kann.
Es ist nicht unbedingt das, was man als normale Band bezeichnen würde. Es ist eher ein Projekt, das die Talente zweier enger Freunde - Bonamici und Gitarrist Felix A. Remm - vereint, um alternative Pop-Juwelen zu schaffen, die ein großes Selbstbewusstsein vermitteln.
