Diese Liveaufnahme entstand in der Calderone Concert Hall am 11. August 1978 und wird hier als Doppel-CD veröffentlicht.
Als Mitglied der Allman Brothers Band wurde Dickey 1995 in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen. 1996 gewann er einen Grammy für die beste Rock Performance mit dem Instrumental »Jessica«. Nachdem sich die Allman Brothers 1976 aufgelöst hatten, veröffentlichte Betts mehr Solo-Alben, darunter 1977 Dickey Betts & Great Southern. Enthalten war auch der Song »Bougainvillea«, Der von dem zukünftigen Hollywood Star Don Johnson mitgeschrieben wurde.
