Das Debütalbum des niederländischen Yachtrock-Quintetts um Martin & Garp erscheint als CD im Digisleeve sowie als Vinyl (4c-Innersleeve) auf Légère Recordings.
Phil Martin, Musiker und Produzent, war schon immer vom Erbe von Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, den Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac oder The Eagles fasziniert. Nachdem er lange musikalisch im Soul- und Jazzbereich aktiv war, fand er nach einer Zusammenarbeit mit dem Sänger Lo van Gorp als Martin & Garp auf dem Album »Sentimental Fools« zusammen.
Die beiden Musiker bilden jetzt mit Rik van der Ouw, Ruud Van Halder und Baer Traa die Dawn Patrol und erforschen weiter die Geheimnisse des Westcoast- und Softrock-Sounds der späten 70er, gepaart mit europäischer Pop-Raffinesse. »Bring On The Good Times« ist ein programmatischer Titel - die zwölf neuen Songs heben den analogen Breitwand-Luxus-Sound, gerade in den Niederlanden besonders beliebt, auf ein neues Level. .
