Crazy Town veröffentlichen mit »The Brimstone Sluggers« ihr erstes neues Album seit über 10 Jahren. Stilistisch knüpft es an das Erfolgsalbum »The Gift Of Game« an, und ist von Bret »Epic« Mazur produziert worden.
Mit der Nummer-1-Single »Butterfly« aus dem Jahr 2000 ist die Band bis heute präsent, und hat bereits letzten Sommer einige neue Songs bei Auftritten bei Rock am Ring/Rock im Park und dem Nova Rock-Festival live vorgestellt. An vorderster Front sind weiterhin Seth »Shifty Shellshock« Binzer und Bret »Epic« Mazur tätig, die mit Rap-Parts und rockigen Grooves überzeugen. Mit dem neuen Album verfolgt die Band nun vor allem ihre Hip Hop-Ursprünge weiter. Für das Album haben sie eine Reihe an Gästen gewonnen, darunter Rapper Madchild, Bishop Lamont, No Doubt-Gitarrist Tom Dumont, sowie Material des ehemaligen Bandmitglieds DJ AM.
